Whilst browsing the information super-highway, pop-up after pop-up led me to www.howtomakelsd.com. On this very informative site it also mentions how to produce its less potent cousin LSA – a tincture that has its base in Ethnobotanicals. I am unaware of the law surrounding this compound in the UK so I am yet to make it. Even if it is legal, I probably will not make it due to a fragile mind. But anyway – here is the recipe, it seems quite straight forward. If any one does make it please get in contact and tell me the results.

Lysergic Acid Amide (LSA) is an alkaloid that occurs in some plants and fungi. It is also called as Lysergamide, Ergine and LA-111. It is considered a psychedelic drug, which alters the person’s cognition and perception. It can be considered as a precursor to LSD-25 (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide) which is a more potent psychoactive drug. LSA can also be used in the synthesis of LSD-25 (see the How To Make LSD article). Aside from being easier to make, LSA is less expensive and less hazardous to extract. The only downside is that it is not nearly as potent as actual LSD-25.

Lysergic Acid Amide is naturally found in the seeds of Morning Glory and Hawaiian Baby Wood Rose seeds. Extraction of LSA from the seeds is not particularly difficult, but may potentially be dangerous so caution is to be exercised during the process. It can be done at home and the materials are not that hard to obtain. There are two methods you can use to extract LSA, depending on how you intend to use it.

Dosage is going to vary from person to person and is going to depend on the types of seeds you use and the quality of the LSA. Hawaiian Wood Rose seeds are typically the most potent. If you trip on LSA frequently, you are going to develop a tolerance and need a higher dosage to feel the same effects. On average, one trip is equal to 30 grams of Morning Glory seeds and 15 grams of Hawaiian Wood Rose seeds. Speaking in terms of the chemical itself, around 600 micrograms should be enough for one trip.

Items you need:

    • Morning Glory or Hawaiian Baby Wood Rose Seeds


  • Coffee Grinder



  • Coffee Plunger pot thing



Ground the seeds in a coffee grinder until it is a fine powder. Put the powder in in the plunger pot thing and put a glass of water in there. Let it percolate in a dark cupboard until the water looks a bit like coca-cola. Plunge the coffee pot plunger pot thing and decant. Consume imediately. Note: keep it at a low temperature throughout.
